What awaits you
- You will be part of our 40-strong IT team and will mainly work in the area of IT infrastructure.
- Your working day as an IT specialist for system integration is usually varied and characterised by flexibility. Sometimes you can act with foresight, sometimes you have to react spontaneously to problems and find solutions for them.
- Responsible? Of course! - You control the authorisations and accesses of several hundred employees on several IT systems.
- We show you how the planning, configuration and professional operation of IT systems works and you work on the installation and setup of hardware components, operating systems and networks.

- In addition, exciting IT projects are always waiting for your support.

What awaits you
- During your training, you will get to know our commercial departments and work actively in them. You will focus on organisational and administrative tasks in the office.
- You can get to know the following departments during your training with us: purchasing and human resources, accounting and financial accounting, customer service and assistance areas.
- We will show you the complete office processes in these areas and how to handle them.
- Customer service and order processing are just as much a part of your tasks as personnel management, the processing of orders and invoice entries.
- In addition to various correspondence, you will also prepare presentations or monitor and coordinate appointments.
- You will carry out most of your tasks with the help of a computer and company-specific software. Your tasks are varied and your phone rings from time to time. Sometimes you'll be on the phone with colleagues, customers or service providers we work with.

- During your studies, you will get to know various programming languages, immerse yourself in the exciting world of algorithms and thus gain a solid foundation in computer science.
- In the second year, you'll get into the details: setting up the IT infrastructure, digital transformation with Big Data and the Internet of Things, databases, software engineering and insights into technical computer science.
- In line with your practical focus with us, the "Software Engineering" specialisation starts in the third year - here you will deepen your knowledge of programming in a team on various software platforms using modern approaches such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. In addition to focusing on classic, agile and hybrid process models, the specialisation deals in particular with the programming and quality assurance of mobile software systems, as well as virtual and mixed reality platforms (e.g. 3D glasses) and their influence on society. Software engineering is concerned with the various networks and operating systems, and with the development of mobile applications. Software is made particularly user-friendly through various techniques (such as gamification).
- During the practical phases in our company, you will gain your first professional experience in a strong team of over 40 IT specialists and work directly on small projects.

What awaits you
- During your studies, we will give you insights into the exciting world of finance - whether in controlling, actuarial mathematics or finance and accounting - we will show you the entire financial processes in an insurance company.
- You will work on interesting tasks and projects in the areas of planning, analysis, controlling and cost accounting or get to know the processes of financial accounting and bookkeeping.
- In the theoretical phases at the DHBW, you will acquire comprehensive economic knowledge in order to be able to recognise and analyse market movements in the insurance and banking business and to assess development trends. As a basis, you will be taught classical business management skills.
- You will gain your first professional experience in our finance department, work independently on projects and even take on independent tasks in the specialist department.

- The dual study programme in International Business combines the contents of business administration with exciting international and intercultural aspects.

Student trainees
